Rich Gallagher began musky fishing in the early 1980's in Northern Ontario.  From his first Canadian musky trip, he was "hooked" and has been chasing muskies ever since!  An avid fisherman of all species of freshwater & saltwater fish, Rich has also participated in the Professional Musky Tournament Trail (PMTT) with his partner Chris Drury who makes VooDooTails musky bucktails, the best musky bucktails in the business

Lakes he will be working include the Fox Chain, East & West Loon Lakes, Silver, Shabbona, Shelbyville and several others.

Rich grew up fishing the local lakes & rivers in Illinois and Wisconsin.   He is a writer for Illinois Fishing & Hunting News Magazine and has had articles published in The Outdoor Notebook and Muskies. Inc. magazine.  He is a seminar speaker covering all aspects of Muskie fishing. He is President of the Fox River Valley Chapter of Muskies, Inc.  He also works with Chicagoland Fishing Has No Boundaries Group which involves helping the mentally & physically handicapped to enjoy fishing.   He currently resides in Elgin with his wife and four children.
